1. ESTA: Not required; Strongly recommended; Available by clicking United States
2. Guam Electronic Declaration Form: The Guam Electronic Declaration Form (Guam EDF) is a mandatory digital form that all arriving passengers will need to complete before entering Guam. The form is accessible for completion up to 72 hours prior to arrival and just prior to Immigration clarence via a Kiosk. Guam Electronic Declaration Form site
3. Guam Electronic Declaration Form validity: Once QR code is emailed to traveler
4. Guam Electronic Declaration Form: Available in Japanese by clicking either the button for Sign in or Sign up.
5. Visa: Not required for a stay of 45 days or less
6. Passport: Valid for at least duration of scheduled stay
7. Proof of departure: Onward/return confirmed ticket and valid documents for next destination and evidence of sufficient funds for stay in Guam.
8. Number of entries: Single during the 45 day visa-waiver period except for side trip(s) to Saipan
9. Stay duration: 45 days max.
10. Stay extension: Not possible
11. Restriction: Can not accept unauthorized employment, attend school or represent the foreign media

An ESTA is delivered electronically, and is tied directly to your passport. Apply online at least 72 hours before travelling to United States/GUAM.

As of June 12, 2022, the USA no longer requires air passengers traveling from a foreign country to the United States to show a negative COVID-19 viral test or documentation of recovery from COVID-19 before they board their flight.

I-736 is no longer required:
1) If a traveler holds a valid visa for travel to the U.S.
2) If a traveler is a citizen of Japan and has a current ESTA enrollment.
3) If the traveler is a citizen of the U.S.
